Heart Changers International Ministries was birthed through the spiritual development of a newsletter entitled the Loveletter.
Being an advocate of love and its effectiveness of winning people to Christ; Laconia Dunn, preacher, teacher, and exhorter of the Word of God, birthed the idea as she ministered in writing via several avenues to hurting, confused, and misinformed people. With the influx of emails, phone calls, and letters, God began to speak about the effectiveness of writing as a tool to help the hurting, downtrodden, and heavy laden. With a few ideas and little formal writing experience, the road to development began.
As the Loveletter took form and began its healing power to the sick and downtrodden, God continued to map out the vision of ministry in its totality. Coached and counseled by the Holy Spirit Himself, the vision began to expand. Ministering to those outside the walls of the church , God begin to show minister Dunn the effects of ministry locally, remotely, and eventually internationally. The vision began to grow with the development of a website, hiring on of staff members, quarterly distribution of the Loveletter, monthly meetings, and participation in local, and out of town benefits for children, churches, and other ministries.
Sponsorship, events and partnerships were established and embraced because of connections that were made. The road to formal ministry began, and living out the vision came to life.
What is represented here today is the move of God, initially through the writing vehicle entitled the Loveletter, and finally via the expansion of the vision to move higher and higher for the sake of the Gospel and the advancement of the kingdom.
